Insurers’ UK land investment reaches record levels in 2012
General insurers in the UK invested a record amount in land, buildings and construction in 2012 – more than three times the annual average for the previous five years, official figures out this morning show, further highlighting the attraction of this asset class for risk carriers struggling to generate decent returns from traditional investments.
