Hurricane Sandy: Storm cuts global oil demand expectations
US: The International Energy Agency (IEA) has cut its global oil demand expectations for the fourth quarter by 290,000 barrels per day, equivalent to half an aframax tanker loading, to 90.1 million barrels per day (bpd), to reflect the persistently weak European economy and hurricane Sandy’s impact on the US.
