Robinson takes action against Omega
JOHN ROBINSON, the founder of Omega, has served an originating summons on the Bermuda-domiciled, London-listed company, instituting proceedings under the Bermuda Companies Act for the Supreme Court to appraise the fair value of his shares in the company, following the announcement of an agreed all-cash 67p-a-share acquisition by privately owned specialty insurer Canopius (InsuranceDay.com, April 26th).
