Australian claims account for over 75% of annual premium
Insurers were hit for A$23.8bn ($25bn) in claims from A$30.6bn in gross written premiums over the last financial year, as the unprecedented series of natural catastrophes took their toll, according to latest statistics released by the Australian regulator.
