$100m bill for Queensland floods
Insurers have reserved over A$100m ($107m) in claims relating to damage sustained during Australia’s first catastrophe of the year, last month’s flooding in south-west Queensland, as hundreds of residents continue to be evacuated in the state of New South Wales amid fears of further floods following the heavy rain which has impacted 75% of the state.
