AIG to cut prices of Japanese units if capital slips
New York-based AIG has agreed to lower the $4.8bn price tag for AIG Star Life Insurance and AIG Edison Life Insurance in the event that the capital of the two Japanese life units falls below ¥554bn ($6.6bn), buyer Prudential Financial has disclosed in a US regulatory filing.
