No charges after AIGFP investigation
THE US Justice Department has decided not to press charges against several executives of AIG Financial Products for their role in the development and sale of risky credit-default swaps and other derivatives that brought AIG to the brink of collapse and prompted the federal bailout of the company starting in September 2008.
