Port of Tacoma joins the competition with four new ZPMC cranes

Altogether, eight newly purchased cranes will enable Tacoma's Husky Terminal to serve two 18,000 teu ships at the same time, positioning the port to compete for the larger ships now expected in the transpacific container trade

The new cranes will stretch across 24 containers and reach a lift height of 165 feet above the pier deck, about 50 feet higher than at present
