Too early to bill LNG a success in US-China trade talks

Reports paint Cheniere and Delfin LNG as potential winners to benefit from more LNG offtake with Chinese counterparts. But there are just one too many moving parts in the ongoing trade talks and LNG offtake negotiations to declare anyone a winner

China still has to weigh US LNG against options available in Qatar, Australia and Russia, and given tense bilateral relations, it is only natural for the Asian giant to want to diversify its energy sources
