Names refuse to treat Lloyd’s capacity as tradeable commodity despite soaring value
Private investors accounted for the majority of the nearly £62m of capacity traded in the first two auctions of the season, marking a dramatic turnaround from 10 years ago when corporate buyer dominated, but the rocketing value of capacity has yet to tempt individuals to begin trading their capacity on a grand scale.
