Pitching London against Bermuda misses the point
EVER since the early 1990s, when hurricane Andrew prompted the first wave of catastrophe reinsurer formations in Bermuda - the Class of 1993 - and propelled excess liability carriers Ace and XL into the mainstream, the London versus Bermuda debate has been running apace.
