Palmer v Palmer decision places insurers at risk
A RECENT UK Court of Appeal decision appears to increase the risk of liability insurers’ being ordered personally to pay costs incurred in the unsuccessful defence of litigation brought by a third party against their insured, according to Nigel Brook, head of reinsurance, and Michelle Radom, professional support lawyer, at Clyde & Co LLP.
