NY Court of Appeals ends Bear Stearns recovery bid
The New York Court of Appeals has ruled that US bank Bear Stearns could not recover from its insurers any portion of an $80m regulatory settlement because it breached the consent provision of the policy, according to lawyers from Sedgwick’s insurance practices group.
