TARP recipients face pay check
AIG and other US financial firms that have received bailout assistance from the US Treasury’s Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) have come under increased scrutiny over pay packages for their top executives and have begun drawing up new employment contracts that would enable them to void the deals in the event the government’s so-called “pay czar” objects to the compensation packages.
