Corporate failures drive down Euler profits
PARIS-based credit insurer Euler Hermes barely remained profitable in the first half of 2009, with net earnings of €700,000, ($989,428) against €122.3m in the same period last year, due to a sharp rise in corporate failures, which is expected to continue in the coming months.
