Finite deals lead to Zurich penalty
Financial services group Zurich has agreed to pay a $25m penalty to the US Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) in connection with the use of finite reinsurance that enabled the company to inflate its finances but failed to transfer risk outside the group.
