Initial Japan loss estimate from Omega
BERMUDA-based, London-listed insurer Omega has estimated its ultimate loss as a result of the March 11 quake and tsunami in north-east Japan at $23.6m, net of reinsurance and reinstatement premiums, based on an insured market loss of about $25bn.
