Julian James departure: Lockton’s search for a successor is on
Julian James’ departure as chief executive of Lockton International means another global broking operation will have a new man at the helm from the beginning of next year. Already two of the largest broking organisations in the world – Marsh and Willis – have confirmed new leaders following the departure of iconic chief executives Brian Duperreault and Joe Plumeri respectively, and while Lockton’s international operations are not on that scale, James has been an influential and charismatic industry figure, particularly in the London market.
