ICA downgrades Queensland property damage numbers
THE Insurance Council of Australia has reduced to 5,100 from 15,000 its estimate of the number of homes rendered uninhabitable as a result of the Queensland floods, although it has kept unchanged its earlier assessment of about A$1.51bn (US$1.53bn) in losses.
