Asian catastrophe losses top US activity over three-year period
Further evidence of the rise of natural catastrophe losses in “non-peak” zones has emerged with new data showing 35% of insured losses over the past three years have occurred in Asia, taking the region ahead of the US in terms of having the largest share of insured loss activity during this period.
