Chaucer boosts Hanover numbers
MASSACHUSETTS-based insurer Hanover, which bought Lloyd’s business Chaucer last year, has booked net income of $20.8m for the second quarter, up from a loss of $32.2m in Q2 2011, on net premiums of $1.198bn, up 46.9% year on year.
