Tentative €100m insured loss from Italian quake
THE magnitude 6.0 earthquake that struck the Emilia-Romagna region in northern Italy on Sunday morning will cause insured losses in the region of €100m ($128m), according to catastrophe modeller Eqecat, although the estimate contains “a high degree of uncertainty”.
