Insurers cutting own throats, Nigerian CEO claims
A CONSISTENT failure on the part of Nigeria’s 48 insurers to abide by a market agreement that they all signed last December has already cost the industry some NGN800bn ($5.32bn) in premium income, according to Mohammed Kari, CEO of locally based Unity Kapital Assurance.
