‘Class of 2010’ unlikely after storms, says Flagstone founder
NEW capital entering the reinsurance market in the aftermath of a major loss event occurring during this year’s hurricane season would most likely take the form of sidecars and catastrophe bonds rather than that of permanent carriers, according to Flagstone Reinsurance Holdings founder, Mark Byrne.
