CCR profit falls 37% despite premium rise
STATE-owned French reinsurer Caisse Centrale de Réassurance (CCR) saw its premium income increase 2.3% in 2009, to €1.2bn, supported by strong growth in its open market activities, as ceding companies sought to diversify their placements.
