Insurers face $1.4bn oil spill hit
INSURERS have in-force policies for around $1.4bn in cover for TransOcean, Halliburton, Cameron International and other energy and marine companies that have a share in Deepwater Horizon, the oil rig that exploded and sank 50 miles off Louisiana two weeks ago, the Insurance Information Institute has reported.
