SEBI overruled on ULIP sales ban

THE 14 assurers that were told by the Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on Friday to stop selling Unit-linked insurance plans (ULIPs), were yesterday cleared by Indian finance minister Pranab Mukerjee to carry on selling the products, at least temporarily.
