Japan Club uses loan and unbudgeted call to offset threat to S&P ratings
The Japan protection and indemnity (P&I) Club has been forced to implement a subordinated ¥8bn ($103.12m) loan and impose a supplementary call for the 2010/11 policy year of 30% on its members to alleviate the threat to its Standard & Poor’s credit rating of BBB.
