NZ Earthquake Commission declares 12th in series of insured events
NEW ZEALAND’S Earthquake Commission, the country’s state-backed catastrophe insurer, has classified this week’s magnitude 6.3 aftershock in Christchurch as a new event for insurance purposes - the 12th in a series of events that began with the original earthquake on September 4 last year.
